Service Overview

When you have missing or damaged teeth, this can have a negative impact on your quality of life. You might feel self-conscious about smiling or speaking around others. It might be difficult to chew your favorite healthy foods comfortably.

Whether your tooth has broken because of trauma or becomes unstable because of deep decay, a dental crown is a restoration that can save your tooth and make it stronger.

The use of high-quality materials to mimic the color and texture of the natural tooth so your restoration blends in seamlessly. Strong, long-lasting dental crowns are made to absorb the force of chewing so that your tooth is fully functional again.

Are Dental Crowns Well - Suited ?

Crowns are well-suited in the following situations:

  • Rebuilding a tooth that has become worn or weak because a large dental filling has begun to fail
  • Holding a dental bridge into place
  • Improving the appearance of a tooth that has become stained or discolored
  • Protecting a tooth that has become brittle after a root canal
  • Providing the finishing touch for a dental implant
  • Reshaping a tooth that has an irregular appearance

Will Dental Crown Fit Precisely ?

Gone are the days of multiple appointments to your dental clinic in order to get a dental crown. At our surgery, we use state-of-the-art computer-assisted design software (TRIOS technology) that allows us to scan your tooth after we prepare it. This takes the place of the unpleasant dental impressions of the past; it also provides us with a more accurate mold of your tooth so that your new crown will fit precisely.
The scan is sent to our in-house milling machine, which fabricates your new crown in about 15 minutes—while you wait. Once it is ready, Dr. Nhan can immediately cement it into place. The entire process will take about an hour and a half from start to finish, and it can all be completed in just one appointment at our clinic.
